While we get to sit back and pick apart the Socceroos performances against Oman and Thailand, there’s no rest for the lads themselves as they scurry back to their club’s around the world for this weekend’s club action.

Mark Schwarzer’s Fulham ($3.25) are desperate for three points as they lag just out of the drop zone, they’ll will be on the road against Sunderland ($2.30). Man City ($1.29) shouldn’t have too many problems against the Geordies ($10.25) and Man United ($1.50) head to Wales for a tricky trip against Swansea ($7.20) at Liberty Stadium.

The highlight of the Premier League weekend is the clash at Stamford Bridge - as someone said to me during the week it’s “the battle of the battlers” Chelsea v Liverpool. I’m sure both sets are fans will be disappointed with recent form and a win here will get their seasons back on track – a different result could see their gaffer under some serious pressure. Chelsea opened at $1.78 (now $1.80) – which did seem rather short and punters knew it, so the juicy $4.70 (now $4.60) for Liverpool was snapped up quickly and we’ve even taken a number of bets for the draw - $3.50.

The champions market still remains unchanged with punters only wanting the Manchester teams. City a slight drifter from $1.80 to $1.85 while United firms a touch from $2.80 to $2.70, Chelsea $9, and incredibly Arsenal – who are always well backed - are next at $26.

Speaking of the Gunners, they head to Norwich this week and you’d think they’ll stitch up the Canaries, rivals Spurs likewise at home to Aston Villa. Well, they are great rivals but this week punters (and fans) can unite in our Betstar North London special. You can get both Arsenal and Tottenham to win at the top price of $2.75! It’s a big spoil as we think it’s about time you got one over us!

Remember if you’re not already a part of the crew at, when you sign-up please make sure you enter ‘GGARMY’ in the promo code to support Australia’s Football Fan network - the Green and Gold Army.

Until next week, happy punting!
