Can the Socceroos' A-League talent shine?

It’s a much anticipated return to international action for our Socceroos with Harry and Emmo eager to impress in their first matches for the national team since returning home to play in the A-League.
I don’t think you’ll be surprised to hear that the Socceroos will jump short favourites at $1.52 but with the desert heat a factor up against a team with nothing to lose, funnier things have happened.

Oman will go in at $6.30 – there’s been no money for them whatsoever from Betstar’s football lovers and it seems Oman’s EPL goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi (Wigan) will be earning his money in this one. One thing that’s surprising is a few dollars on the draw at $3.70, could there be a chance that the Aussies will settle for a point? After all we’re sitting pretty on top in Group D anyhow! Though that policy might have left with the last manager…

Betstar has many markets across all the footballing continents with internationals left, right and centre over the next few days. The Euro 2012 plays-offs are the pick of the bunch and they are all set to be close affairs. First legs all begin Saturday morning – Turkey $2.32 v Croatia $2.95 is where punters have shown the most interest, Turkey drifting slightly and warming to the Croat’s with one having a few hundred just a few hours ago at $3… hoping they don’t know something we don’t!

Alrighty, it’s the bit in the blog where some of you skip straight to… Betstar special time! This week, with the Socceroos in action, the Betstar football gurus are giving you the chance to get behind your A-League based Socceroos. You can get the incredible price of $2.50 for ANY current A-League based Socceroo to score at any time vs Oman this weekend! Do not miss this one!!
