It was great to be a part of your pre-drinks in Melbourne for the Saudi Arabia match and well done to those GGArmy members who cleaned up backing the Socceroos and stand by for some exceptional Socceroos specials after Friday Night’s final AFC WCQ draw in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, in the A-League, Brisbane’s on fire and Arnie’s looking having a little glance over the shoulder of late with the gap down to just three points. Speaking of three – there’s just a trio of weeks remaining before we hit finals so who will join Brisbane in the AFC Champions League next season and claim a home final? Needless to say it’s a big round ahead for those in and around that area of the table… interesting to note that punters are very cautious at the moment…

Melbourne Heart $2.26 host a key clash against Wellington $2.95 and you dare say that if Heart can’t claim all three points here their home final hopes will be dashed, Wellington looking to kick clear in third. In the harbour city it’s last chance saloon as Sydney FC $2.08 desperately need a win against the hapless Melbourne Victory $3.20 who decided they’d had enough of the A-League season last weekend… they’re just a remote chance of making it but I wouldn’t ask Matty Kemp’s thoughts on them right about now!

Sunday sees Brisbane $1.33 hosting Adelaide $9.30 don’t forget the Reds won mid-week in the Champions League, the Roar went down... Could that boost their confidence? Or will the travel catch up with them? Last but not least sees a cracker at nib Stadium as fourth-placed Perth $2.22 hope to claim the win over league leaders Central Coast $3.00 - incredible that the league leaders, three weeks from finals, are at those odds! Certainly a rarity in any code… simply a sign of how tight the A-League is.

Brisbane remain favourite for the third week in a row at $2.45 to win the A-League, Mariners drifting out to $2.90 and the juice just flows from Wellington $8.50 down to Sydney $19... it’s wide open alright!

Quickly, in the EPL tricky trips for Man City $1.54 who are heading to Swansea $6.70 and Spurs $2.50 who are off to Goodison vs. Everton $2.80 as they both look to hold onto where they are on the table. Spurs have hit the self-destruct button as the arch enemy brim with confidence… can the gunners snatch third? As for Chelsea they’re out to $2.50 just to make Top 4!

Ok, speaking of EPL and the Top 4, it’s the subject of our GGArmy special. Grab all the current Top 4 EPL teams (City, United, Spurs, Arsenal) all to win this weekend for the enormous price of $7.50! Make sure you head to for all the best Football markets around!

Remember if you’re not already a part of the crew at, when you sign-up please make sure you enter ‘GGARMY’ in the promo code to support Australia’s Football Fan network - the Green and Gold Army.

Until next week, happy punting!
