Wild about Harry to score?

Finally! It’s here. The A-League returns after a long off-season to the biggest hype domestically, ever.

It all kicks off with a triple header today. Minus the Culina’s can Newcastle Jets ($2.14) overcome a youthful looking Melbourne Heart ($3.25 – Draw $3.25)?

Then it’s the big one, Harry Kewell and Brett Emerton make their A-League debuts as Melbourne Victory host Sydney FC.

There’s been a huge amount of interest in this match from punters. Betstar opened Victory at $2.15 and they were backed off the map into $2.00. They’ve abandoned Emmo’s Sydney FC ($3.20 out to $3.40) after a lackluster title defence, perhaps the draw here is value at $3.35.

Speaking of title defence, it’s never been done before in the A-League but if anyone is going to do it you’d fancy Brisbane, despite losing key players likeMcKay and Solorzano. Brisbane ($2.14) wind up things in the Grand Final rematch against Central Coast ($3.25) who, still to this day, will be wondering how on earth they threw away that two-goal lead in the GF, the mental barrier will be a big enough to overcome in itself!

GGArmy’s punters got the better of us last weekend with Schwarzer at his best for Fulham and we’re back again to look after you this week with a huge special, Harry Kewell to score on debut this weekend against Sydney FC at any time - $4.25! Top, top value!

History shows Week 1 is a very unpredictable weekend in the A-League so, if you have a team you like, take us on at Betstar.com.au where you’ll find more A-League specials and the Socceroos World Cup Qualifying market against Oman.
