And we’re away in the EPL… the opening weekend wasn’t the greatest of weekends for punters after Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal only managed draws, but with some of the big boys at home this weekend there’s a chance to bounce back.

It’s going to be a ripping weekend with the Tyneside derby at the Stadium of Light and many punters have elected to sit on the fence here (Draw $3.30) otherwise you can get Sunderland at $2.16 or the Toon seem value at $3.45.

The two intriguing fixtures each feature the North London sides– Arsenal ($2.50) at home to Liverpool ($2.90 – Draw $3.25) where a splurge of money for the reds is coming in as we speak, then on Tuesday morning, Spurs play their first match of the season at Old Trafford where Man U will be without Vidic and Ferdinand but no doubt there will be usual controversy with it all ending in a United win.. $1.65 seems overs to me!

Tim Cahill will make his season debut as the Toffees are set to tee off on QPR at Goodison which leads me to our weekly special at – it’s a great chance for you to barrack for Timmy or any Aussie in the EPL to score this weekend, simply click on the ‘EPL – Socceroo Special’ where you’ll find the great price of $6 which is top value, especially now it seems QPR will be leaking goals all season!

Speaking of battling teams, Betstar has the relegation market open and no surprises that it’s the newly promoted teams leading the way with Swansea at $1.65 then both Norwich and QPR at $1.90 but the value here seems to be West Brom at $6 seen as though only once have they managed to stay up in the premier league in consecutive years.

Don’t forget if you’re not already on board with Betstar, when you sign-up please make sure you enter ‘GGARMY’ in the promo code to support Australia’s Football Fan network - the Green and Gold Army.

Enjoy another cracking of football and until next time – happy punting!
