C'mon Glory

Will be waking up at dawn over here in London to watch the final (or maybe I'll just stay up), it will be worth it though to watch The Glory take their righhtful place back at the top of Australian Football.

I predict a comfortable 5-4 victory on penalties!!!

RE:C'mon Glory

As someone who flew up to Brisbane for the GF (the fifth I've attended) and as a "neutral", the Roar fully deserved their victory.

Glory played well is terms of containing their opponents yet created very little in terms of scoring opportunities.

Full marks also for the large travelling support from Perth.

Our reaction from reasonably close to the action at that end and in "real time" was a penalty and although replays were not conclusive there did appear to be slight contact to unbalance Berisha.

Regardless, the equalising goal was a cracker and it would have been so very unlikely that the Glory could have held out Brisbane over 30 mins of extra time.

You make your own luck in football, the Roar were the better team on the day and throughout the season.
