Melbourne Heart CEO Scott Munn has taken time out from holidays to rescue the fast-developing Mirabella Cup saga.

Earlier today, as reported at ggarmy.com, FFA have demanded that both Melbourne Victory and Melbourne Heart withdraw from Victoria’s knock-out Mirabella Cup.

In a message on twitter, Munn wrote: "#MHFC will offer to play winner of #mirabellacup at their home ground and all proceeds stay with the club."

The gesture was instantly met positively in the ‘twitterverse’ and will presumably draw the ire of the national body.
