Centre-back Alessandro Nesta on Wednesday became the latest AC Milan player to sign a contract extension.

Following new deals for Thiago Silva, Flavio Roma and Mark Van Bommel, Nesta signed an extension keeping him at the club until the end of next season.

The 35-year-old World Cup winner joined the club from Lazio in 2002.

He's won two Champions League crowns and two Serie A titles with Milan and one title with Lazio.
