Australian keeper Mark Schwarzer has put his shocking last round form behind him to help Fulham to a 2-0 win over Birmingham, a result that steers the Cottagers well clear of relegation.

Socceroo Schwarzer's typical faultless efforts were on display for Sunday's St Andrews Stadium clash, with the 38-year-old himself sighting the net at one stage with a massive clearance.

The performance was a turnaround for Schwarzer who had a day to forget in Monday's 5-2 defeat to Liverpool.

Fulham boss Mark Hughes was happy with his team's Sunday win which puts the side on track for a top-eight finish.

"Today we were fully focused and I think you can see that from the way we approached the game and we were able to get another away win which have been hard to come by," Hughes said after the match.

Fulham face third-placed Arsenal for a home game next Sunday.
