Tom Rogic provided two assists as Celtic romped to a 6-0 win away to St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Rogic set up both of James Forrest’s goals in the 30th and 38th minutes in the emphatic win, before being replaced after 69 minutes.

Forrest worked a neat one-two with the Aussie, who used his right foot to return the pass, to make it 3-0.

Rogic produced a right-foot throughball for Forrest to complete his own hat-trick and make it 4-0 before the break.

Forrest said: “For three of my goals, Tom and I played a good one-two. It was excellent link up play down that right-hand side.

“Tom’s great to play with and you saw that today. I’m just glad we managed to score a few goals and keep a clean sheet.”

Elsewhere, Ben Garuccio’s run outside the Hearts starting line-up continues, playing as a 73rd minute substitute as 10-man Hearts lost 3-1 to Rangers. Oliver Bozanic was an unused sub.

Bailey Wright still isn’t back for Bristol City, despite returning to training last week, sitting out their 2-1 home loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship on Sunday.

In the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday, Trent Sainsbury for the first time in the league as PSV Eindhoven defeated VVV Venlo 4-0.

Sainsbury put in a full shift in central defence. Aziz Behich was an 80th minute sub for PSV.

In the English Premier League on Saturday, Aaron Mooy put in a full shift as struggling Huddersfield drew 1-1 away to Burnley.

Mooy almost set up a goal for Town when he stole the ball on the right side of the box and squared for Laurent Delpoitre whose shot was blocked.

The Aussie earned an 8/10 rating from the Huddersfield Examiner, who wrote: “Involved in much of Town's best work and never stopped working.”

Mat Ryan put in a full shift on Friday night but was seldom tested yet kept a clean sheet as Brighton won 1-0 over West Ham.

Jackson Irvine shook off an Achilles injury scare to start and play 80 minues in Hull City's 1-0 loss at Sheffield United in the Championship on Saturday.
