Tom Rogic produced a Player of the Match display in Scotland, Adam Taggart scored again in Korea, Awer Mabil got an assist in Denmark and there were plenty of other scorers.

Tom Rogic starred as Celtic thrashed Aberdeen 4-0 on the road in the Scottish Premiership.

Rogic claimed an assist and earned a 9/10 rating from the Daily Express.

The Daily Express wrote: “At the heart of every attack, pulling the strings to great effect, while displaying a calmness in possession that stopped Aberdeen from gaining any momentum.”

“Brilliant through-ball to Elyounoussi in the build-up to the third was the highlight of an excellent display.”

Adam Taggart got on the scoresheet in Korea’s K-League as Suwon Bluewings drew 1-1 away to Incheon United.

Taggart scored his 18th goal of the season in the 23rd minute of the clash.

Taggart and Terry Antonis both played full games in the draw.

Awer Mabil claimed an assist as FC Midtjylland fought back from behind to win 2-1 away to Esbjerg.

Mabil put in a full shift as he set up Mikael Anderson’s 67th minute equaliser.

Mat Ryan put in a full shift as Brigthon & Hove Albion claimed a hard-fought 3-2 win over Everton in the English Premier League.

Ryan earned a 7/10 rating from the Brighton & Hove Independent who wrote: “A couple of great saves in the first half, one excellent down to his right at the near post.

“No chance with the equaliser. Apart from the goal, not much for him to do in the second half.”

Aaron Mooy was out suspended for the Seagulls.

In the Championship, Massimo Luongo missed Sheffield Wednesday’s game due to an ankle injury sustained in midweek after scoring the winner.

Owls boss Garry Monk said: “I left it until this morning to see how it was but it was still too swollen.”

In League One, James Cummings scored the winner as Shrewsbury won 1-0 over Sunderland.

In League Two, Cameron Burgess and Jack Iredale both scored goals for Salford City and Carlisle United respectively.

Trent Sainsbury returned to action after injury and put in a full shift in Israel as Maccabi Haifa won 3-0 at Hapoel Kfar Saba. Nikita Rukavytsya started and played 83 minutes too.

In the USA’s conference semi-finals, Brad Smith played a full game as Seattle Sounders progressed 2-0 past Real Salt Lake.

In the Indian Super League, David Williams netted a double as ATK claimed a 5-0 win over Hyderabad.
