Sam Kerr scored a brace including converting an absolute gift, while Emily Gielnik and Kyah Simon made their debuts for new Women's Super League clubs and Mackenzie Arnold impressed in goal.

Sam Kerr hit a double as Chelsea romped to victory over Everton 4-0 in the English Women's Super League on Sunday.

Kerr swooped on a mis-control to test Everton keeper Alexandra MacIver early, before spurning a good chance with a soft effort.

After a frustrating first half, the Matildas skipper made it 2-0 in the 47th minute, capitalizing on an awful pass in defence from Megan Finnigan for the easiest of goals.

Kerr added a third with a bullet header from Guro Reiten's 74th minute cross from the left flank.

Emily Gielnik made her Aston Villa debut and was lively in attack, playing a full game as the Villans leveled late to claim a 1-1 draw at West Ham United.

Mackenzie Arnold was in goal for the Hammers and impressed with several key saves.

Gielnik had a first-half chance at the near post saved by Arnold, while she fired wide from a rebound after Ramona Petzelberger's effort had hit the post.

Kyah Simon made her Tottenham debut, starting and playing 61 minutes in a shock 2-1 win over Manchester City.

Alanna Kennedy took on her former club, starting and playing 73 minutes while Hayley Raso was absent.

Steph Catley made a rare start for Arsenal, getting through 78 minutes as they won 4-0 at Reading on Sunday.

Lydia Williams was an unused sub while Caitlin Foord is out injured.

Angela Beard and Clare Wheeler played full games while Indiah-Paige Riley was a 59th minute substitute as Fortuna Hjorring won 3-0 at Brondby in the Danish Kvindeliga. Alexandra Huynh was an unused sub.

Jenna McCormick put in a full shift as AGF won 1-0 away to AaB.

In Sweden's Damallsvenskan, Clare Polkinghorne played the full 90 as Vittsjo drew 2-2 at Djurgarden while Dylan Holmes and Winonah Heatley were unused subs for Hacken and Vaxjo respectively.

Teagan Micah played a full game as Rosengard won 2-1 at Hammarby with Charlotte Grant left on the bench.

Ellie Carpenter was absent as Olympique Lyon won 6-0 over Dijon in the French Feminine Division while Mary Fowler was a 79th minute sub as Montpellier lost 2-1 at Guingamp.

Ella Mastrantonio started and played 58 minutes as Lazio lost 8-1 to AC Milan in the Serie A Women, while Aivi Luik was an unused sub for Pomigliano.

Beattie Goad was an unused sub as Granadilla Tenerife lost 2-1 to Madrid in the Spanish Feminina Primera Division.
