Sam Kerr played her part as Chelsea won 4-1 over Bayern Munich to secure a spot in the Women's UEFA Champions League final on Sunday.

Kerr started and played a full game, laying off the 10th minute pass for Fran Kirby to open the scoring.

The Matildas captain had the chance to settle the tie with Chelsea up 3-1 on the night, leading 4-3 on aggregate, as she raced down the left flank in one-on-one but shot marginally wide.

The win means Chelsea will play Barcelona in the final on Sunday 16 May.

Steph Catley made her on-field return from injury as an 81st minute substitute in Arsenal's 2-1 win away to Hayley Raso's Everton in the Women's Super League on Sunday.

Catley had been out for several months with a hamstring injury which required surgery in January.

The Matildas defender entered the fray with 10 minutes to go, joining Caitlin Foord who played a full game.

Lydia Williams was an unused sub for the Gunners, while Hayley Raso started and played 85 minutes for the Toffees.

Mackenzie Arnold marked her official return from injury for West HamUnited with a clean sheet in Sunday's 0-0 draw at Aston Villa.

Emily van Egmond played a full game too.
