Aussie winger Awer Mabil got an assist in Denmark, Mitch Langerak kept a clean sheet in Japan while Aziz Behich celebrated winning the Turkish Super Lig title.

Awer Mabil came off the bench and get an assist as FC Midtjylland won 6-3 over FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga on Saturday.

The Socceroo, who entered the game in the 74th minute with the score at 4-3, set up the 91st minute goal from Lasse Vibe.

Mabil broke in behind Nordsjaelland’s defence, with his shot parried by the Nordsjaelland keeper, but the Australian winger collected the rebound and unselfishly laid off for Vibe to score.

The result means Mabil’s Midtjylland, who have been crowned champions, are now 19 points clear.

Alex Gersbach, Mustafa Amini and Zac Duncan were absent as AGF clinched a European spot with a 4-2 win away to FC Copenhagen on Sunday.

The result means AGF cannot finish lower than third, but moved up to second. Amini is likely to be leave AGF in the off-season meaning he won’t partake in European football.

In Turkey’s Super Lig on Sunday, Aziz Behich was again an unused substitute as Istanbul Basaksehir were crowned champions with a 1-0 win over Kayserispor.

Istanbul BB were four points at the top with two games to play coming into the match, with the win securing their maiden Turkish league title.

In England’s Championship, Callum Elder played a full game as Hull City’s relegation worries worsened with a 1-0 home loss to struggling Luton Town.

The Hull Daily Mail rated Elder 5/10 and wrote: “Took on the captain’s armband as senior players missed out and helped City’s defence find much needed resolve.

“An attacking threat in the first half but retreated as the tide turned. Not a natural leader.”

The result leaves Hull three points from safety with one match to play, meaning they must win on the final day at sixth-placed Cardiff to have any hope of staying up.

Brad Smith was an unused sub for Cardiff as they won 3-1 at Middlesbrough to firm up their playoffs spot.

Massimo Luongo started and played 75 minutes as Sheffield Wednesday went down 5-3 away to Fulham.

Yorkshire Live rated Luongo 4/10 and wrote: “Was not at the races in the centre. The game passed him by for long periods.”

In Croatia’s Prva HNL on Sunday, Fran Karacic started while Anthony Kalik was absent as NK Lokomotiva drew 1-1 with HNK Gorica.

In Korea's K League on Sunday, Adam Taggart created his side's two best chances but he had little service as Suwon Bluewings lost 1-0 to Seongnam.

After Seongnam dominated the first half, Taggart, who played a full game up front, fired in a snap shot volley in the 66th minute which went narrowly wide.

With his side trailing 1-0, the Socceroo came close in the 84th minute when he won a header from a corner but sent it over the bar.

Terry Antonis was an unused sub for the Bluewings.

Elsewhere, Brandon O’Neill played a full game in midfield as Pohang Steelers won 3-1 at FC Seoul on Saturday.

In Japan’s J.League, Mitch Langerak put in a full shift and kept a clean sheet as Nagoya Grampus got past Sagan Tosu 1-0 on Saturday.
