Riley McGree had a tough shift for Birmingham City, while Harry Souttar impressed once again for Stoke City and Tom Rogic’s Celtic suffered an Old Firm defeat to further dent their title hopes.

Riley McGree started but struggled and was replaced after 64 minutes as Birmingham City went down 2-0 at home to Blackburn in the English Championshpi on Saturday.

The Birmingham Mail rated him 4.5/10 and wrote: “Made no impact in the first half. His energy flashed a couple of times in the second period but he left shortly after an air-shot wasted good work by Sanchez.”

Harry Souttar received a 7/10 rating for his full shift in defence as Stoke City lost 1-0 at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Stoke Sentinel wrote: “A good test against Solanke. Keen to nip in and intercept passes and pinged a couple of pinpoint 60-yarders himself.”

Tom Rogic was an 84th minute substitute as Celtic lost to rivals Rangers 1-0 in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

The result is significant in the title race, giving the Gers a 19-point gap.

Martin Boyle put in a full shift as Hibernian were humbled 3-0 at home by Livingston on Saturday.

Boyle only managed a 3/10 rating from Edinburgh Live who wrote: “Marked out the game and rarely able to get up to full speed.”

Bailey Wright played a full game and helped Sunderland to another clean sheet with a 0-0 draw away to Northampton Town in the English League One on Saturday.

Wright got a 6/10 from the Sunderland Echo who wrote: “Handled the aerial threat of Northampton well enough and was rarely troubled.”

Nikita Rukavytsya started and played 82 minutes but didn’t score for once as Maccabi Haifa won 1-0 over Hapoel Hadera in the Israeli Ligat Ha’Al on Saturday.
