29 August 2011 MOTM performance from young Aussie Herd -
Young Aussie Chris Herd made just his second top flight start as Aston Villa drew 0-0 with Wolverhampton on Saturday.

Herd put in a fine performance at full-back, winning the man-of-the-match award and going close to a winner in the second-half with a fine header.

Villa boss Alex McLeish said after the game about the award: “I thought it was deserved. I thought he was terrific. Absolutely brilliant.”
